Job Description
Anglo Singapore International School is seeking an enthusiastic and academically strong Secondary Computer Science Teacher to join its team at the Sukhumvit 64 Campus.
The successful candidate will teach Cambridge IGCSE, AS & A Level Computer Science, helping students develop strong programming, computational thinking, problem-solving, and theoretical knowledge.
The role also provides opportunities to incorporate robotics, automation, and introductory artificial intelligence into learning where appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons aligned with Cambridge IGCSE, AS & A Level specifications.
Teach programming, algorithms, data structures, computer systems, networks, databases, and computational theory.
Develop students' computational thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Prepare students for Cambridge examinations and relevant practical or coursework components.
Assess and monitor student progress and provide appropriate differentiation and support.
Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning.
Support STEM, coding, robotics, and technology-related co-curricular activities.
Create a positive, well-managed, and intellectually stimulating learning environment.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
Promote responsible and safe use of digital technologies.
Follow school safeguarding and professional policies.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Recognised teaching qualification such as QTS, PGCE, or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of secondary Computer Science teaching experience.
Experience with Cambridge IGCSE, AS & A Level Computer Science is strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of programming, algorithms, computational thinking, and computer science theory.
Good classroom management, organisation, and communication skills.
